Good.
good read Interesting spy story and southern spies are the very best to read about . dfuring that time situations are well set
Kinda a fun read.
Belle Boyd is one of the most fascinating southern women I have read about. She was beautiful and strong and not afraid to follow her beliefs. Since this book is a copy there are places that are difficult to read, but it doesn't interfer with her story.
I always love a first-hand account, so I enjoyed getting this story straight from the heroine herself. Her opinion of Lincoln is surprising--yet refreshing--given the loyalties she held.
Great book when you consider the time frame -- the Civil War. Some pretty tough women and you have to admire them for what they subjected themselves to for their beliefs. I wonder if we can be as tough today, if it ever becomes necessary.
